About Prickly Pear Blossom
This beautiful desert plant, genus Opuntia, or Prickly pear cactus has more than a dozen varieties! The exotic flowers come in several different colors ranging from yellow to hot pink. Some prickly pear have long spines, some have small spines. The beautiful flowers bloom in the late spring or early summer above the flat prickly pads. Once the blooms fade, the fruit is formed. Both the pad and the fruit are edible.
 These darling "old fashioned" style jars are filled with our premium southwestern fragrances. They are topped off with a rusty lid & a unique, hand stamped copper charm.
